Director - Marketing Operations

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and deliver marketing measurement approach

• Integrate, align, maintain, and support the marketing automation platform and associated marketing tools
• Build, mentor and drive a motivated team to deliver on key goals and objectives align to business priorities
• Create, define, and roll-out an end-to-end marketing process optimization and governance
• Construct key marketing reporting mechanisms, including dashboards and reports
• Build a BI engine to ensure high accuracy of data and strong data governance throughout a multi-touch customer journey

• Deliver ongoing analytics to provide marketing and sales with insights for better decision making
• Own and lead the marketing technology infrastructure strategy and execution of projects (project management and implementation, governance, and roadmap development), including collaboration with IT, sales and other functions as needed
• Lead and oversee the marketing data ownership/management, as well as alignment with relevant corporate data initiatives
• Partner with impacted marketing and sales functions and define marketing process initiatives
• Oversee the of marketing planning and budgeting process in conjunction with the Chief Marketing Officer

• Manage and develop initiatives to gather/disseminate internal and external marketing best practices
• Develop an enablement strategy for all marketing professionals for career development development/training plan by function, working in conjunction with leaders of those functions
• Offer consult to chief marketing officer (CMO)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar field of study

• 12+ years marketing experience, ideally with 5+ years in a marketing operations role and/or in a B2B industry
• 4+ years management exp; Or combination experience and education
• Experience implementing and maintaining marketing automation platforms as part of a sophisticated marketing stack
• Experience building and scaling ABM programs leveraging a full funnel ABM platform (e.g. Demand Base, 6Sense, Terminus)
• Experience in managing complex budgets and directing procurement processes to meet budget requirements and goals

• Knowledge of CDPs, data strategy, data organization, and data flows that ensure high quality data is powering the marketing & sales automations across the funnel
• Data-driven approach and highly analytical
• IT project management experience, including the rollout of related applications (MAP, MRM, SFA) to sales and marketing audiences
• Marketing reporting and dashboard development, analysis and delivery, including using data from sources (example MAP, SFA, Web analytics and/or finance resources)
• Significant project management expertise in process creation, delivery and monitoring, particularly in the area of service-level agreements

• Advanced level degree in Marketing
• Salesforce experience
• Demand creation/field marketing experience

• Prior sales and/or finance experience
• Experience with measurement/dashboard creation in non-U.S. markets
• Allocadia experience
