Job Description:
Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week.
The Director Multi-Disciplinary Intelligence is responsible for leading the GBD Marketing Multi-Disciplinary Intelligence team, leveraging expertise across Behavioral Science, Economics, and Psychology, Traditional Research Methodologies, Advanced Analytics, as well as Human-Centered Design Practices to build strategic learning roadmaps and agendas, drive rigorous experimentation and study designs, and synthesize learnings into insight-driven recommendations and action plans for marketing strategists.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Leverage expertise in specialized and traditional research as well as advanced analytics, and experimentation to build the portfolio that accelerates marketing and consumer innovation.
- Build and lead the portfolio of learning alongside the investment dollars needed to support.
- Advocate for investment funding across key partnerships to drive the learning.
- Identify the key strategic questions that need to be answered for the business and for marketing, coordinate between the other Government Business Division (GBD) Marketing Intelligence teams to deliver on learning and answering those questions.
- Lead strategic insights forums that drive to the heart of answering strategic questions for the Government Business Division (GBD) Marketing line of businesses.
- Lead a team of advanced researchers, behavioral scientists, and talent in partnership with advanced analytics and data partners to create and execute rigorous studies.
- Synthesize and communicate the insight-driven narratives that drive action for the business.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires a MA/MS degree and a minimum of 10 years of direct research experience in healthcare related field, including a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Experience with SAS, SPSS, Python, R or other statistical software required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences
- PhD preferred.
- Experience implementing qualitative and quantitative research designs preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location, the salary* range for this specific position is $142,548 to $210,000
Location: Colorado
