Job Description:

Responsible for the 24-hour management of Respiratory Therapy, with operations oversight of additional departments and duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Therapy Program. Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

 

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a manager/supervisor in Respiratory Therapy.

 

Technical Skills:
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department and provide the care/service as described in the department policies and procedures.

 

License/Certification:
Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care. Current State of Nevada Practitioner of Respiratory Care license, Current Blood Gas General Supervisor License in State of Nevada.* Basic Life Support (BLS)
certified by the American Heart Association and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association. Neonatal Resuscitative Provider (NRP) certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Pediatric Advanced Life
