Your Role

The Director of Growth is responsible for leading all of our digital growth initiatives including driving strategy, setting priorities, expanding capabilities and taking on ambitious growth goals.  This is a job where you’ll be calling a digital growth strategy but will also be “hands-on-keyboard” implementing the strategy.  


Digital growth is a very metrics-driven function.  You’re somebody who is committed to continuous experimentation, improvement, and can communicate that out to the business.

You are a leader who realizes that revenue is the objective and optimizes the program to generate leads that convert.  

 Responsibilities
  • Continually optimize all of our digital performance marketing channels, including paid search, SEO, paid social media, display advertising, and retargeting
  • Develop and optimize outbound marketing campaigns including a regular cadence of nurture, ongoing communication and customer-focused communications.
  • Align the digital strategy with our field strategy to ensure an overall cohesive vision. You are a leader who takes a full-funnel approach and understands how to optimize the demand generation mix.
  • Partner with other functions within the marketing org to segment the audience to improve targeting and response rates.
  • Lead our growth expansion into new markets and customer segments by developing highly-targeted campaigns.
  • Launch creative experiments where you think big about novel ways of driving awareness and demand.  Support the team in swinging big even when experiments may fail.
  • Set targets for key financial metrics such as CAC and LTV and drive for continual improvement.
  • Forecast demand and optimize the lead mix based on data but have the agility to adjust rapidly as the situation changes.
Expectations
  • Hands-on expertise with key marketing tools including Hubspot, the Google and LinkedIn Ad Platforms, ABM tools, and analytics solutions is an absolute requirement.
  • 10+ years of relevant B2B tech marketing experience demonstrating strong leadership skills. Genuine knowledge and interest in key industry trends and new forms of growth marketing.
  • Experience in authoring and optimizing nurture and outreach campaigns. Ability to demonstrate where you have optimized the campaigns and the results that they’ve generated.
  • Expert in optimizing the lead mix.
  • Ability to explain your programs using both data and strategy.
  • Natural storyteller with ability to recognize compelling narratives and visual ideas.
  • Accomplished track record of setting and hitting aggressive growth targets. 
  • Proven ability to partner with creative people, aligning creative work via clear briefs and reviews. 
  • Highly adept at leading through influence, and a proven ability to deliver results via collaborative teams.
  • Strong relationship and consensus-building skills necessary to manage projects in a complex matrixed environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work with all levels in the organization.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity market is a big plus.

Base Salary: $160,000 - $200,000

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at HYPR. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other HYPRions. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at HYPR to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
