Revenue Operations at Simpro
At Simpro, our Revenue Operations team propels revenue growth and acceleration by dismantling functional barriers, fostering cross-functional process enhancements, and forging a unified perspective of business operations, efficiencies, and returns on investments. Serving as the Chief Operating Officers for our revenue leaders in Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success, we possess profound insights into revenue generation drivers across the entire customer journey, from initial awareness to retention and expansion. Our responsibilities encompass all ROI methodologies and calculations for revenue-generating activities and investments. We continuously assess the ROI and revenue velocity of various investment options and oversee scoring, propensity, targeting, SAM/SOM, pricing optimization, experimentation, attribution, and other models guiding decision-making and evaluating the effectiveness of revenue-generating processes and teams. Our role also involves steering an integrated technology roadmap and producing or certifying operational dashboards for revenue-generating units.

What You’ll Do
Drive Marketing and BDR Planning, Target Setting, and Reporting Process:
- Lead the planning, target setting, and reporting process for marketing and Business Development Representative (BDR) teams.
- Take ownership of annual planning and periodic "replanning" for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), including resource allocation, target definition, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with the CMO and global BDR leader to design BDR compensation plans and set quota targets.
- Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in partnership with the Revenue Analytics team to monitor and evaluate marketing and BDR performance against plans.
- Identify global and regional interdependencies for reporting marketing performance in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Run-The-Business (RTB) meetings, and Board of Directors (BOD) updates.
Ensure Predictable and On-Target Pipeline Creation Process:
- Develop and align business processes for funnel stages across marketing, sales, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure team capacity, new hire onboarding, and individual BDR productivity meet or exceed plans, in collaboration with the global BDR leader.
- Monitor pipeline creation and coverage at regional, team, and representative levels.
- Collaborate with Sales and Partner Operations leads to conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Optimize Lead Flows and Returns on Investment:
- Monitor and analyze funnel metrics to identify anomalies as indicators of business impact.
- Apply a growth-hacking approach to discover levers for enhancing marketing and BDR output while reducing costs and increasing Return on Investment (ROI).
- Foster a test and learn culture within the marketing and BDR organization for continuous improvement, working alongside the Revenue Analytics team.
Enable Efficient Business Management for the CMO:
- Serve as a trusted advisor with expertise in strategy, planning, sales, marketing, revenue operations, customer success, finance, and support teams.
- Own the integrated monthly planning process for the CMO organization.
- Manage budget processes for the CMO and collaborate closely with finance and execution teams for reconciliation.
- Act as a key consulted-stakeholder for marketing technology initiatives in partnership with Revenue Technology product managers.
Key Responsibilities

- Oversee team capacity, new hire ramp-up, and individual BDR productivity to meet or exceed expectations, in partnership with the global BDR leader.
- Monitor pipeline creation and coverage at regional, team, and representative levels, collaborating with Sales and Partner Operations leads for analysis and corrective measures.
- Streamline lead flows and optimize ROI.
- Scrutinize funnel metrics, identifying anomalies as indicators of significant business impact, and facilitate positive amplification and negative reduction.
- Apply a growth-hacking approach to identify substantial levers for enhancing marketing and BDR output while reducing costs and enhancing ROI.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the marketing and BDR organization, partnering with the Revenue Analytics team.
- Empower the CMO in efficient business management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor with a well-rounded background in strategy, planning, sales, marketing, revenue operations, customer success, finance, and support teams.
- Oversee the integrated monthly planning process for the CMO organization.
- Manage CMO budget processes, collaborating closely with finance and execution teams for reconciliation.
- Act as a key stakeholder for marketing technology-related initiatives in collaboration with Revenue Technology product managers.
What You’ll bring
- Possess 8+ years of experience in marketing or marketing operations within high-growth SaaS companies.
- In-depth comprehension of how SaaS revenue-generating functions interact to convert demand into revenue.
- Established reputation as a trusted advisor/business partner to senior functional leaders, with a track record of influencing their strategies and operations.
- Desire to be a high-impact individual contributor who leads through influence.
- Proficient in project management, capable of estimating, tracking, and completing milestones and deliverables for complex projects involving multiple teams.
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) enabling effective engagement across all organizational levels.
- Recognized as a strategic thinker, adept at identifying critical factors and variables shaping long-term success.
- Skilled in performing ad-hoc analyses using Excel, business reports, and dashboards, along with a willingness to delve into details.
Compensation Range: $140,000 - $190,000 + Bonus
