What You Will Be Doing

Director of Quality and Business Analytics will ensure the highest level of products and service deployments for service and support at ChargePoint.  This key individual will understand all aspects of support and ensure that we are organized as the global industry expert within ChargePoint. The position is a focal point for ChargePoint and is responsible for driving the adoption of working on quality improvements in the customer experience as well as providing reporting and developing analytical insights/solutions that can be adopted.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in support quality control and analytics/reporting
  • BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science or related degree required. MBA a plus
  • Ability to clearly summarize quality data and trends, and to create reports and presentations for all levels of internal audiences
  • Interact with cross functional teams that include engineering, marketing, operations and reliability to understand new product’s field performance
  • Strategic thinker who has tactical experience that can transition quickly between as needed.
  • Identify or develop/mentor organization to become world class while creating necessary business process to increase efficiencies
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure, to accomplish tasks on time and with high quality results.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and able to build collaborative team environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time

Required Qualifications

  • Developed quality process and improvements via Lean Six Sigma certification, or SQC processes.
  • Developed reporting and/or analytics solutions via a portal, dashboard, or BI platforms
  • Provided training for the field on new products and services
  • Developed Field Quality tools/reports to drive correct actions in a timely fashion as well as drive corrective actions back to the operations and engineering and service.
  • Influence design decisions that affect the performance of a new unreleased product to improve total cost of ownership (reduce DOA, increase MTBF, and MTTR) for the products.
  • Translate new products into operational solutions.
  • Developed quality support practices analyzing customer related interfacing

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $132,000 to $181,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
