SisuCare is actively seeking dedicated and passionateCNA Clinical Instructorsto join our growing team of nursing faculty inSan Jose, CA. This is a unique opportunity to inspire and train the future workforce of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) through our innovative, tech-enabled learning program.
As a Clinical Instructor, you'll play a vital role in shaping students' clinical skills, instilling core values of patient care, and supporting them on their journey to certification.

What You'll Do:
• Deliver engaging clinical instruction based on the state-approved Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP)
• Set clear expectations and support student success through hands-on teaching, coaching, and mentoring
• Foster an interactive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes excellence in patient care
• Evaluate and document student performance through direct observation, assessments, and skill checks
• Maintain accurate student records including attendance, instructional hours, and testing outcomes
• Collaborate with SisuCare faculty, clinical site staff, and potential employers to ensure program excellence
• Assist students with technical support and access to the learning management system (LMS)
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Program Director
What We're Looking For:
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of hands-on nursing care experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility
• Director of Staff Development (DSD) certification – or willingness to obtain (we can help you get certified!)
• Physical capability to assist with clinical instruction, including lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing physical demonstrations
• Proficiency in engaging adult learners with strong organizational and communication skills
• A genuine passion for education and a collaborative, student-centered approach

Schedule Options:
• Full-Time:Monday–Friday| 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (15 clinical days)
• Part-Time:Monday–Friday| 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (28 clinical days),Monday–Friday| 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, andSaturdays/Sundays| 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (15 clinical days),Monday–Friday| 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (23 clinical days)

Pay: $50.00 per hour
Schedule:
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
Application Question(s):
• Do you have prior experience teaching Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) programs?
• Do you currently hold an active RN or LVN license issued by the state of California?
• Do you have a minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN)?
• Do you have at least one (1) year of experience providing care and services to elderly patients in a long-term care setting such as a skilled nursing facility, acute care hospital, intermediate care facility, home care, hospice, or similar environment?
• Do you currently hold a Director of Staff Development (DSD) certification? This certification requires completion of 24 hours of continuing education focused on planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing education programs.
