Carelon's Payment Integrity Org is looking to hire a Director of Strategic Partnerships to drive growth through innovation for its external commercialization effortsS/he will be responsible for driving client partnerships, developing/scoping strategic partnerships, and crafting external partnerships, including the financial modeling/revenue model development/business case development to accompany.

• Responsible for working for VP and above to identify, develop and propose Payment Integrity initiatives and guide portfolio decisions related to multi-client initiatives and strategic partnerships
• Responsible for working with staff VP-level and above to drive planning and strategy aimed to improve results based on continuous ROI-driven needs assessment and in-line with organizational strategy
• Support framing investment rationale for business cases across strategy portfolio, and particularly for initiatives that support external clients (beyond Elevance)
• Help vet strategic partners for Payment Integrity
• Oversees specific Payment Integrity strategy initiatives related to key metrics (e.g. financial performance and commercial growth)
• Provides coaching and mentoring to other leaders and junior team members on strategic thinking and on projects that deliver high return and high strategic value
• Often acts as decision maker on projects or provides guidance to senior team on complex issues
• Helps lead Payment Integrity strategy organization in achieving long-term growth plan
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including 5 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred skills and experiences:

Knowledge and experience in the products and services of the respective industry strongly preferred. MBA preferred. Ability to travel approximately 25%.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $131,840 to $237,312.
