Director Pharmacy Healthplan Services

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of KelseyCare Advantage and KelseyCare for KS Plan Administrators. Including: clinical program oversight, strategic planning, compliance and operations. This position will design, implement and oversee clinical programs to improve both quality and utilization. This individual will collaborate with CMS, health plan operations, network physicians, pharmacies and the PBM to insure the successful implementation and ongoing operation of KelseyCare Advantage and KelseyCare. This individual will also be responsible for insuring the accurate and timely submission of CMS required reports as well as review and analyze the financial performance of KelseyCare Advantage and KelseyCare. Is also responsible for all pharmacy related clinical and quality programs and initiatives in all clinic areas. Collaborates with Business Development, Managed Care, and other departments to develop and implement clinical plans or programs designed to improve patient care, quality, and enhance revenue

Salary Range: $171,107 - $211,368 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: Bachelor of Pharmacy

Preferred: PharmD

Experience

Required: Demonstrated knowledge of current health care and managed care pharmacy practices

5 years management experience.

Preferred: 3 years of managed care pharmacy or Medicare pharmacy program/benefit experience.

License(s)

Required: Current Texas Pharmacy license.

Preferred: N/A

Required: Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent analytical, research, and project management skills

Effective presentation skills.

Ability to effectively mange and successfully complete multiple high priority tasks
