The Role:
Halcyon is seeking an experienced cybersecurity product marketer to develop and execute all marketing and sales needs related to our core endpoint anti-ransomware product offerings and professional services. This role requires a strong understanding of EPP, EDR/XDR, network security, backup and disaster recovery solutions and general cybersecurity. This role will have high visibility internally and externally so the right candidate will have excellent written skills, strong project management abilities and is comfortable giving talks, presentations, and interviews. Â
Responsibilities:

Work with engineering, product management, customer success, sales, and sales engineering to develop content to include datasheets, presentations, video demo walkthroughs, battlecards and objection handling assets for use by enterprise sales teams, executives, and channel partners.Â

Drive a content roadmap for upcoming product releases and update existing marketing assets as message evolves and additional features are added.Â

Contribute to sales and channel partner enablement for product updates.Â

Sponsor changes to product and message based on competitor analysis and shifts in the cybersecurity landscape.Â

Explain and showcase our products and services through a regular cadence with various technical analyst firms like Gartner and Forrester. Â

Host a regular cadence of webinars highlighting Halcyon offerings.Â

Develop use cases and collect case studies from existing customers.Â

Represent the company, brand, and products by attending field events to demo products, assisting in trade show activities, and speaking at relevant conferences.Â
Skills and Qualifications:
-
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally with at least 5 years in a direct product marketing role. Relevant experience in sales enablement, sales engineering, product management or solutions architecture/sales engineering will be considered.Â

In-depth knowledge of top EPP, EDR/XDR, related ransomware-focused products, and endpoint cybersecurity in general. Â

Technical competence (enough to demo cybersecurity products without a script).Â

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a knack for public presentations.Â

Base Salary Range: $152,000 - $200,000
Bonus Target: 10%
In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
