Director/Sr. Director of Marketing (Remote)

JOB SUMMARY

Senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics, including communications, thought leadership, web presence, and event management for CDMO in cell and gene therapy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develop strategy and execute effective and efficient processes to meet business marketing commitments, achieve company objectives, and generate profit:
  • Create and own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy to demonstrate a clear path for continued growth of sales and revenue
  • Establish process for monitoring market trends and provide regular competitive analysis to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches
  • Identify marketing metrics required for the company to meet its commercial and financial goals
• Exemplify, develop strategy and execute processes to meet brand marketing commitments
  • Develop strategy and processes to generate positive, measurable outcomes from attending sales meetings, tradeshows, and partnering events
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Generate and deliver customer satisfaction services to ensure compliance with deliverables and quality of image
  • Responsible for brand guidelines to ensure that all Genezen materials represent the company brand
  • Manage regular dissemination of PR technical thought leadership collateral
  • Oversee relationship with marketing firm and/or consultants
  • Ownership of Marketing and Events corporate calendar
• Hire, recruit, coach, and ensure appropriate provision of training for employees within assigned areas:
  • Develop a marketing team organization plan that meets current and future business requirements.
  • Build and manage a budget for the marketing department.
  • Coach, develop, and challenge direct reports, enforcing company policies and dealing with personnel issues promptly
  • Evaluate talent and oversee performance management practices
