Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.?
Overview:
Unit: Echo Stress Lab
Shift Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6a-6p
Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs echocardiography procedures for interpretation by physicians. Provides the patient care essential to echocardiography procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: 1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. Prerequisite for education and required clinical experience from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) with CCI or Registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of eligibility); BLS within 30 days of hire.
Experience: None
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Echocardiography is a highly-skilled allied health profession requiring judgment and capability in assisting the delivery of health care as it relates to this modality. Responsible for reviewing the pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data to facilitate optimum diagnostic results, including performing the appropriate procedures that provide a sonographic record of the anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data necessary for interpretation by a physician.
