ECommerce Fullstack Developer

We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Developer with expertise in React to join our dynamic eComm-IT development team. The ideal candidate will have a good background in both frontend and backend development, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain high-quality headless web applications. You will be responsible for translating user stories and business requirements into functional applications, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of our web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development:
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly headless web interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Implement complex UI components and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize frontend performance for fast load times and smooth interactions.
• Backend Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using traditional standards like Node.js, Python, Java, etc.
  • Integrate frontend elements with server-side logic.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and work with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Ensure security and data protection in all backend applications.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional eCommerce Product teams including designers, product managers, and other developers.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Testing & Deployment:
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability of the application.
  • Manage the deployment process and monitor application performance in production environments.
  • Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proficient in frontend UIUX development in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Express, or other relevant frameworks.
  • Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORMs.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role as part of eCommerce Product or Project Teams.
  • Proven experience in building and deploying scalable web applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
