Work Location: Boston, MA- Hybrid, 3 days a week in office

What you will be doing:

The Ecommerce Specialist for Beauty (Hot Tools, Revlon, Drybar) plays an integral role in elevating the digital shopping and educational experience across these iconic haircare brands. Your responsibilities will span across ecommerce channel marketing with an emphasis on optimizing website content management and CRM (email marketing) support.

This role partners closely with many cross-functional teams, (Product Development, Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative, Social Media and PR teams as well as the EMEA Ecommerce team) making the ability to collaborate productively a vital skill.

  • Campaign (Promotion and Product) Set-Up: You are supporting the ecommerce team, ensuring the flawless execution of campaigns, promotions, and new product launches. Working in tandem with the Ecommerce Manager and the broader team, you guarantee the delivery of right-sized content, copy, and video assets to captivate and engage the audience.
  • Product Merchandising: Your focus on optimizing Product Listing Pages (PLPs), Product Detail Pages (PDPs) search results, landing page carousels, and cross-selling strategies improves the discoverability and appeal of products. Through strategic merchandising, you contribute to enhancing sales and customer happiness.
  • Page Optimization: Implementing page optimization plans derived from reporting insights is central to your role. Your collaboration with the wider Ecommerce and Marketing teams ensures that website pages are finely tuned for efficient user experience and performance. This extends beyond catalog pages (product listings and details) to the broader landing pages, educational content, blogs and articles that drive engagement (and thus sales) on the sites.
  • CRM Support: Collaborating closely with the Retention Manager and creative teams you will help coordinate content for and build weekly emails. Your role extends to optimizing consequent landing pages, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer journey.
  • Content Management: You handle and update content to keep it fresh, relevant, and aligned with brand identity. Additionally, you provide crucial support to the social teams by briefing on content, being responsible for content creation, and managing collateral to maintain a consistent brand voice. This role will also be responsible for the organization and maintenance of web content in the digital asset manager.
  • Site Localization: In close collaboration with the EMEA team, you ensure global consistency across key campaigns and assets.

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Self-motivated with a track record showing a "can-do" attitude and a passion for your work.
  • Flexible and responsive to change.
  • Presentation, oral and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, work well with others and handle a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce/email marketing.
  • Experience working with ecommerce/digital platforms (like Magento, WordPress, Demandware).
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for eCommerce / digital retail.
  • Written language / copy writing skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and proven interest in the technology landscape
