Your role in our mission

  • Project Management, ability to plan, manage and track EDI projects
  • Must possess advanced, working knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile Scrum Methodologies.
  • Specific knowledge of claims, enrollment, and /or Authorizations in a Medicaid environment
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Understands scope of project and manages to it, executing change control as needed
  • Ability to prioritize and plan activities and develop into a project schedule that adheres to project standards
  • Communicates project activities and status to internal project team, leadership team, and client team
  • Works with team to ensure timely development and testing of the solution and meeting release milestone commitments
  • Proactively identifies, documents and manages project risks and issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
  • Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Ability to abide by Gainwell's policies.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years experience managing EDI projects in Operations or Development, onboarding project experience preferable
  • 4+ years experience in Scrum Master or Agile Lead role
  • Experience with commonly used EDI concepts, practices, and procedures within a heath care field
  • Must possess a strong proven understanding of the Healthcare EDI X12N transactions formats that govern healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
  • Ability to understand and apply concepts from the PMBOK knowledge areas
  • PMP Certification required
  • In depth knowledge of and experience with HIPAA/EDI X12 5010 healthcare-related transactions including 270-271, 276-277,277CA,277U, 278, 820, 834, 835, 837, 999, 824, and NCPDP

The pay range for this position is $64,900.00 - $92,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
