What you'll do:

As the EHS Lead for EMEA Sales Function you will lead the development and implementation of the Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) strategy and programs for EMEA Sales Organization. You will partner with regional and segment sales leaders to drive strategic corporate and divisional initiatives as well as safety management through the regions and sales segments, support the creation of a strong culture that engages sales employees in the achievement of the company's goal of zero EHS incidents in all EMEA Sales locations. This position ensures that developed programs are implemented and sustained to assure compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements and conformance with Eaton Corporation mandates. Additonaly this role has ownership of the Driver Safety Program for EMEA and the support for the overall EMEA Services and Sales org on the EATON University tool usage for EHS related trainings.

• Develops and deploys the overall MESH program for our sales teams, including office safety, driver safety, travel safety and security and ensures necessary training and precautions for any customer sites visits or activities.
• Identifies action-based EHS goals for the organization extended leadership team members to support achievement of the divisions EHS goals and objectives
• Leads team of resources responsible for managing contract compliance and customer entrance requirements related to EHS focusing on sales applications and field activities
• Manages country sales activities not assigned to any services zone directly, and guides zone/cluster/country sales activies in the whole EMEA region
• Responsible for review and monitor compliance obligations related with sales activities or locations in every countries of EMEA
• Leads efforts to ensure that key EHS operational controls are in place and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis
• Pursues third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton's EHS program as world class
• Became an EATON University expert and support the EMEA Services and Sales team on training creation, tracking and reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant related subjec.
• Diploma level qualification and / or professional certification in safety, IH, environmental sustainability
• 10+ years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management in industrial environments.

Skills:

• Comprehension of relevant company and legal EHS requirements.
• Behavioral safety techniques, such as ABC model, safety coaching, consequence management
• Safety leadership and cultural development programs
• EHS performance management techniques
• Subject matter expert in at least one of the EHS functional disciplines (Occupational Health, Environmental, Safety, or EHS Systems)
• Accident investigation and root-cause analysis
