Responsibilities

Endoscopy Tech I

To assist in providing care of the endoscopy patient in the Endoscopy suite under the direction of a RN. Assisting, instrument / equipment decontamination and preparation

Endoscopy Tech II

To assist in providing care of the endoscopy patient in the Endoscopy suite under the direction of a RN. Assisting, instrument / equipment decontamination and preparation. Maintains accurate high-level disinfection documents as defined by ASC policy.

Job Title: ENDOSCOPY TECH I/II ASC- Sign On Bonus $2,500

Location: Springwoods Village

Department: ASC Endoscopy

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $50,724 - $62,659 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School diploma or GED from an accredited program

Preferred:

Endoscopy Tech I- Successful completion of an Endoscopy Technician Training program

Endoscopy Tech II- N/A

Experience

Required:

Endoscopy Tech I- Previous PCT, MA, NA EXPERIENCE and completion of SGNA Endoscopy Technician Training

Program within one year of hire.

Endoscopy Tech II -3+ years of experience as an endoscopy technician in an ASC or hospital setting

Preferred:

Endoscopy Tech I- Ambulatory Surgery Center or inpatient surgery experience

Endoscopy Tech II- Certified Endoscopy Technician

License(s)

Required: BLS

Preferred:

Endoscopy Tech I - Certified patient technician certified NA or certified MA

Endoscopy Tech II- Preferred sterile processing experience.

Special Skills

Required:

Endoscopy Tech I- Basic computer skills

Endoscopy Tech II- Basic computer skills, highly organized

Preferred:

Endoscopy Tech I- N/A

Endoscopy Tech II - CSPD

Other

Required:

Endoscopy Tech I- N/A

Endoscopy Tech II - Articulate verbal and accurate written communication skills.
