Engineer Lead
Job Description:
Responsible for full delivery of end to end system development and maintenance on medium Enterprise wide technology platforms.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Customer Service Support
- Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.
- Respond to support inquiries from SNOW/JIRA tickets.
- Manage war room and rapid response chat support.
- Coordinate with App Dev team on defect prioritization.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of all P5/P4 incidents.
- Working with end users daily on incident management.
- Monitoring batch and data loading activities.
- Real-time data quality issue resolution.
- Environment Support / DevOps Support
- Providing Environment Services for the entire portfolio.
- DevOPs integration and configuration management.
- Agile SAFe PI Train representation and alignment.
- New environment build, configuration, and setup; may implement improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems.
- System configuration changes.
- Working with business leads on service provisioning.
- Recommend stability & performance improvements; may implement processes to reduce barriers and roadblocks in projects, services, and processes to operate more efficiently.
- Code deployment and environment coordination activities; performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
- Monthly & Off Cycle application release coordination.
- Coordinate critical business enterprise readiness activities.
- Owner of N-1 Hardware and Software refresh activities.
- Machine learning, AI, and Robotics initiative activities.
- Review and recommend changes based on architecture and capacity reviews.
- Maintaining vendor relationships with external vendors
- Operations Support
- Coordinates and manages on-call support and owns the system monitoring process
- Provide 24X7 support for all Medical Care Management Applications.
- SWAT call triage and recovery for outages.
- Perform root cause analysis for P3-P0 incident tickets.
- Enterprise patching support and application verification.
- Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan; conduct application smoke testing & verification post patching; coordinate annual Disaster Recovery testing.
- Actively monitor systems and provide system health reports; real-time hardware and resource monitoring support.
- End to end internal and external system audit support.
- Security Exception and certificate renewal.
- Maintain updated software licenses and renewals.
- Leads multiple and / or large projects and owns the technical development environment
- Leads vendor evaluation and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
- Minimum of 7 years related experience; multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications;
- Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, & Experiences:
- Healthcare domain experience
- Experience in Splunk administration including Splunk installation and configuration in client system, dashboard and alert setup and log monitoring.
- Experience & expertise in DevOps process with implementation of CI/CD model using Atlassian tools (BitBucket, Bamboo) and IBM tools (Urban Deploy).
- Minimum of 6 years experience in healthcare / care management business domain
- Experience mentoring others and provide troubleshooting support strongly preferred.
- Multi database and/or multi language strongly preferred.
- Server Technologies (2 or more): AIX, Unix/Linux, Windows
- Web/App Servers (2 or more): IBM WebSphere, Liberty, MS IIS, Apache Tomcat
- Database Technologies (2 or more): MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, IBM DB2 LUW, MongoDB
- Agile & CI/CD (3 or more): JIRA, Confluence, JFrog, Bamboo, Bitbucket, GIT, BuildForge, uDeploy
- Monitoring (3 or more): Splunk, Sitescope, Control-M, WLM, Wily Introscope, Netcool, EGMonitor
- Other Technologies (2 or more): AWS, OpenShift, Informatica, MS SSIS/SSRS
For candidates working in person or remotely in California, the salary* range for this specific position is $131,120 to $214,560
