Position Summary

Responsible for expanding the feature set of the communication platform in an extensible and scalable manner utilizing engineering principles.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for expanding the feature set of the communication platform in an extensible and scalable manner utilizing engineering principles. Own individual modules and act as the technical engineering SME for them. Work end to end on micro-services and SPAs built on cutting edge engineering technologies like Nodejs, Golang and React. Work with great Engineers and solve difficult problems aimed at making the Customer experience seamless. Install, maintain, and support communication networks and analyze new engineering technologies. Assist with building engineering software. Provide innovation communications solutions and work with business to provide engineering solutions to problems faced by customers.

Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Communications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Communications, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or IT, Developer, or related role. In Lieu of a Master's degree and 2 years of experience, Employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Communications, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 5 years of progressively responsible postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or IT, Developer, or related role. Skills Must include: (1) Java or Node.JS software development; (2) building consumer facing mobile and web applications; (3) building software with cloud services with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure; (4) API design that can scale for active users; (5) Database systems (relational or NoSQL); (6) software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile product development environment; (7) data structures and algorithms; and (8) object-oriented analysis and design.

Compensation for this role between $168,709 - $188,709/Year
