Engineering Manager I - Synthetics Continuous Testing

Synthetics is a mature, revenue generating product that tries to detect problems before the user finds them by periodically running tests so that if there is a problem, the robot will find it before a user does. We are extending our offering so that tests can be run in your CI/CD environment to test even before shipping (Shift Left contribution), which is part of our overall effort to invest into dev experience. 

The role consists in leading the Synthetics Continuous Testing Team and creating the next big thing for Synthetics - testing for CI. Shipping Value to customers is the main goal, the EM1 should be able to lead the team, helping engineers grow, animation of team meeting and ownership of the team velocity, and actively contribute with a product-driven mindset whilst collaborating with a product dedicated Product Manager.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a team of 4 Engineers 

• Collaborate closely with the CT PM to develop the product and deliver value

• Be an active contributor in the team and participate in hands-on work: code reviews, design reviews and some coding

Who You Are: 

• Experienced Engineering Manager who can efficiently lead a team into success

• Product-driven mindset, with knowledge in the CI/CD field

• Hands-on Engineer able to contribute alongside the team
