Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, responding to guest requests and service orders, maintaining inventory of all stock and materials used, and managing assigned projects. This position requires excellent communication skills and a consistent daily work ethic. The ideal candidate must have at least three years of experience in painting and wallpaper application, along with knowledge of tile and drywall. Basic Job Duties and Expectations: • Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and priming. • Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. • Repair cracks, holes, or other imperfections in walls or surfaces. • Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas. • Pivot seamlessly from project to project when needed, based on priority and/or business needs. • Cleans and maintains work areas as required. • Maintains maintenance log and records.Wage Information: The hourly rate for this position is $26.50/hr. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.
