Engineering Shoring Advisor

As an Engineering Shoring Advisor at United Rentals, you will be responsible for product development, field installation training, and solution consults for customers. You will support on-site installation instructions of slide rail systems to all existing and potential customers. You’ll be instrumental in providing solutions for the branch and district.

What you'll do:

• Seek out new customers, service current customers, and cultivate opportunities that lead to increase profitability

• Provide full range of services to new and current customers, including needs assessment, quotes, problem solutions, and follow up quality checks

• Educate customers on slide rail systems through demonstrations and training; educate their employees on the safe and proper installation/extraction and use of protective systems

• Provide on-site installation and technical support

• Educate district personnel on properly identifying slide rail/beam and plate opportunities

• Educate district personnel on the proper repair procedures of the slide rail system

• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience on Slide Rail Systems and Installation

• Minimum 3-5 years underground construction experience

• Knowledge of underground construction equipment capabilities, soil conditions, and safe working capacities

• Knowledge of OSHA safe working practices and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and Shielding

• A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and the ability to travel 75% of the time
