Entry Level Carpenter

Looking for an assistant carpenter to cut, assemble, and pack crates for the shipping of concrete furniture. The building of crates does not require advanced levels of carpentry, however, previous experience of carpentry will increase the starting wage. Responsibilities: • Cut crate parts • Be able to interpret a cultist and prepare all the parts • Manage crate parts • Prepare and inventory pre assembled parts • Preassemble crate parts • Assist finished team in loading each crate with the concrete piece and its accompanying parts • Shop cleaning and maintenance • Occasional driving for picking up materials • Potential helping other parts of the shop if needed *Any additional training required to accomplish these responsibilities will be provided Tools/Skills to be learned and implemented on the job: • Typical powered hand tools • Typical woodshop tools: • Table saw • Chop saw • Concrete finishing/touchups *experience not required • Panel assembly • General woodshop safety measures The shop functions under a fast-paced environment and we are looking someone who can keep their work organized and collaborate well with the rest of the team.
