ERP Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The ERP Manger will plan, design and develop ERP solutions that support the core organizational functions. Apply proven project management skills to effectively communicate, analyze and problem solve complex solutions of large-scale ERP projects.

JOB DUTIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversee the enterprise implementation of MRP, custom developments, upgrades and the maintenance of Sage X3.
• Utilize the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) for bug identification and modification testing.
• Supervise ERP team in testing solutions and product acceptance phases to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify appropriate customization and configuration of workflows to allow the integration of client/server applications.
• Work with IT Project Manager and other ERP team members as SME for Sage X3.
• Lead meetings with Sage X3 partners, third party vendors and internal staff. Review invoices regarding ERP customizations and overall costs.
• Lead requirement definitions and design sessions through use of interviews, surveys, user workshops, product/prototype demo's, etc.
• Able to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into efficient SQL queries.
• Knowledge of techniques to optimize query performance, such as indexing strategies and query execution plans.
• Analyze import/export data ERP data. Evaluate existing ancillary applications and provide recommendations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 6+ years of ERP functional work experience implementing process improvement, custom development and market-place solutions.
• Building workflow automation for critical areas of the business.
• Sage X3 ERP preferred, but not required. 
• SQL and Database optimization
• Must have experience developing ERP solutions within distribution and/or manufacturing. 
• Experience working with Bills of Materials, Inventory Optimization, scheduling, shipping, Integrations.
• Proficiency in manipulating data using SQL functions is essential.
• Proficient understanding in database design principles such as normalization, table relationships, and indexing and how these principles affect queries.
• 3+ experience setting up integrations and strong understanding of Sage X3 architecture and APIs.
• Product data structure and optimization best practices.
• Ability to perform in a demanding environment where change is common.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an ERP team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

5+ years supervisory experience
