We’re looking for an experienced Conference and Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of a diverse range of conferences, corporate events, advisory councils, and association management, ensuring seamless scheduling and up-to-date coordination within our organization. This role reports to SVP of Marketing.
Responsibilities will include:
- Plan and execute a variety of events, including conferences, corporate events, advisory councils
- Manage agreements with associations and consulting agencies to ensure compliance, while also overseeing the maintenance of up-to-date content, including whitepapers, sales decks, and company information within their systems
- Develop comprehensive event strategies, including budgeting, timelines, and logistics.
- Identify and secure suitable venues, negotiate contracts, and oversee all aspects of venue logistics.
- Collaborate with content teams to design engaging event agendas and select relevant speakers, presenters, and entertainment.
- Create marketing plans, manage promotional campaigns, and leverage digital and traditional marketing channels to maximize event attendance and reach.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including registration, catering, audiovisual requirements, transportation, and on-site management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors to enhance event quality and value.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure events meet or exceed client and attendee expectations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, analyze results, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ideal candidate has:
- 5+ years of experience in conference and event management or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in planning and executing successful conferences, corporate events, and association management.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Creativity and innovation in event planning and execution.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Experience working with associations and advisory councils (preferred).
- Familiarity with the industry-specific regulations and best practices.
- A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
- Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environmentÂ

The target salary range for this position is: $85,000 - $100,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.
