We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to focus on our organic social product. Organic social media refers to the non-paid efforts a brand puts into building and engaging with their audience. We currently offer two organic social packages, including fully custom calendars and semi-custom calendars. These products aim to educate audiences and foster a sense of community across various social platforms, shaping a brand's unique personality.
Job Description:
As an organic Social Media Specialist, you'll work with the Senior Social Media Specialist and Content Specialists, interacting closely with cross-functional teams to produce strategies, calendar copy, and Canva designs for clients' monthly campaigns. Within this role, you'll conduct reports, manage monthly calendar deliverables, and engage with client audiences.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and curate high-quality, visually appealing content for various social media platforms, aligning with the brand's voice and guidelines.
- Create engaging and shareable posts, including images, graphics, and videos.
- Work with the content team and paid media team to develop and execute organic social media strategies that align with overall SEO marketing objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in social media algorithms to optimize content reach and engagement.
- Foster and nurture a positive online community by actively responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms.
- Identify opportunities for user-generated content and encourage audience participation.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Identify and escalate issues to Senior Social Media Specialist as needed.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams, to ensure cohesive and integrated social media campaigns.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a focus on organic/paid social media strategy and execution for businesses (primarily SMBs; Enterprise experience a plus)
- Experience writing clean, grammatically copy, designing motion/static graphic design assets, and presenting organic social media strategies for Facebook and Instagram.
- Interest and experience creating branded animated graphics and video content for Facebook and Instagram (TikTok and Pinterest, a plus)
- Demonstrated success in growing and engaging social media audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in social media management tools and analytics platforms, including Agorapulse, Facebook Business Manager, Canva, and Hootsuite.
- Experience working through Facebook Business Manager verifications and access capabilities
- Creative mindset with a good understanding of current trends in social media.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A genuine passion for social media and a strong understanding of various social media platforms.
Where: This is a fully remote position.
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada - if you're close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 USD Per Year. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
