Job Description
Based in Skokie, IL or Southfield, MI and reporting to the VP of IT for DRiV (who dual reports to President of DRiV and CIO of Tenneco), the Global Infrastructure Leader will be responsible for leading and managing the on-going strategic direction, design, development and support of DRiV's global IT infrastructure platforms to ensure predicable, reliable, and continuously improving business operations and capabilities.
This executive will be charged with building relationships and strategic alliances with business partners, colleagues, and suppliers to effectively manage and balance multiple priorities. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring that DRiV's global infrastructure and investments continue to enhance the Company's competitive and financial position.
The scope of this position includes leading the IT systems definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and support across all business functions, driving leverage and simplification of the IT landscape, and continually advancing the capabilities of the DRiV businesses to achieve short- and long-term business objectives and investments to enable competitive differentiation for technology services and business value.
The initial focus of this role will be to oversee the seperation of DRiV systems from the overall Tenneco tenant, while also building out the DRiV Infrastructure operating model, including the internal organization, and external services partners. Once established, the role will be responsible for leading and managing a proactive, delivery focused Infrastructure organization consisting of employees, contractors, and several strategic sourcing partners. Additionally, the role will develop prioritized infrastructure road maps as input to overall IT financial portfolio including run support, project delivery spend, system currency programs and data capacity growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation, and maintenance of DRiV's global IT infrastructure systems to ensure business outcomes and objectives are achieved.
- Lead the specification of current and desired state IT infrastructure landscape, identification of gaps to desired state, investigation of new technologies to resolve gaps and advance business capabilities, maximizing existing application assets, and simplification of the landscape over time.
- Participate in strategy and planning efforts for the IT organization.
- Support career development for staff by providing timely feedback, coaching for performance excellence, and succession planning.
- Lead a high-performing team of internal and external resources responsible for all end user support, IT system evolution and maintenance functions.
- Establish IT user support processes, standards, metrics, monitoring and reporting in order to ensure IT Infrastructure is available, responsive, and achieving business outcomes and objectives.
- Establish a service oriented, customer focused IT support and technical teams that support ongoing operations to drive efficiency, quality, customer service, growth and continuous improvement.
- Manage infrastructure vendors, service providers, and internal teams to define and achieve key performance indicators and Service Level Agreements with a collaborative spirit in order to continually seek improvements for the benefit of Tenneco and its business objectives.
- Serve as a leader in the company, promoting Tenneco's vision, values, and encouraging a diverse, high performance work environment (e.g., accountability, health & safety, innovation, integrity, passion and a sense of urgency, perseverance, results oriented, teamwork, transparency, and trust).
- Manage annual operating plan, on-going forecasting cycles, and introduce / implement new, cost effective solutions.
- On an interpersonal level, this executive must be an exceptionally strong leader and communicator, present unquestioned integrity and possess the ability to establish credibility and trust.
Education:
- BS or BA degree in business, engineering, information systems or computer science with an emphasis in information technology. MBA degree is a plus.
Skills & Experience:
- Eight plus years in IT management specifically in global IT infrastructure in a distributed environment that provides support to mid to large size companies.
- Experience in the automotive and/or manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of and experience in IT infrastructure operations and support in both insourced and outsourced IT environments.
- Knowledge in business process design and re-engineering; business and IT management practices and metrics; current and emerging information technologies used across several infrastructure and application domains including ERPs (particularly SAP).
- Functional expertise in running IT infrastructure across multiple business/IT domains including M&A, company split, sales & marketing enablement, ERP/supply chain enablement, distribution, omnichannel management, business intelligence, IoT/AI/RPA, digital factory, and product lifecycle management enablement.
- Working knowledge of IT development and service management practices (ex: Waterfall, Agile, CMM, and ITIL).
- Excellent collaboration, negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills at all levels in the corporation and with external suppliers.
- High level of autonomy to lead IT Infrastructure service delivery, currency programs and support activities.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, colleagues, and service partners.
- Ability to champion change, challenge others, and applying organizational change management.
- Ability to identify, select, and implement cost effective solutions via strategic sourcing partners across both IT infrastructure technologies and support disciplines.
- Requires travel up to 20%.
