Executive Waiter - Lifeworks - East

Job Description

The Wait Staff Lead position is vital to achieving excellent guest service and executing catering events. The Wait Staff Lead is responsible for pulling equipment for event set up, transporting materials and food to the event, setting up the event, serving guests, cleaning up the event, and returning equipment to the catering Department. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. RESUME REQUIRED

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $ 30 to $ 32, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
• Offer menu recommendations
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
• Meet with Chef to review changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests

? Maintains knowledge of menu items and all other offerings
? Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking guests? identification
? Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
? Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
? Ensures security of company assets

• Proven fine dining experience
• Polished and well groomed
• Active listening and effective communication skills

• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Food safety training is a plus
