Overview:
We seek a self-motivated and experienced luxury sales professional/stylist for our Chicago boutique on East Delaware Place. Our ideal candidate will have experience in selling through collaborating with clients to help style and build their jewelry wardrobe. With a focus on success through CRM and various clienteling methods, this position requires knowledge and understanding in managing client profiles through outreach. Candidates should be familiar with or eager to learn both front and back of house retail operations. Experience in a luxury retail and high-touch environment is a must.

We aim to provide a “best in class” luxury shopping experience with an emphasis on styling our client to meet their jewelry wardrobe needs. We are looking for full-time candidates for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Support the development of retail & e-commerce sales
• Manage relationships with established clients, new sales leads and prospects through the use of detailed clienteling and CRM tools. This includes building and maintaining strong client relations via phone, email and general outreach in an agile environment.
• Assist in bringing best practices in selling, sales tracking, and clienteling.
• Take ownership of any and all client-facing interactions, inclusive of everything from custom/special orders to complex repair jobs, advising clients on lead times, pricing, and any status updates.
• Consistently achieve or exceed all KPIs and sales goals.
• Continually generate new business and foot traffic through client outreach and community initiatives.
• Work closely with the store sales team in resolving all customer disputes, special projects and scheduling/operations.
• Assist with all POS/systems and other operational functions (sales transactions and shipments, inventory transfers, repairs, and other processing functions)
• Ensure inventory guidelines, procedures and controls are strictly followed, and assist with weekly inventory counts
• Support the store team with administrative and office management duties, including but not limited to ordering supplies, troubleshooting issues, acting as point of contact for IT/facility needs when applicable, etc.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in luxury retail sales with fine jewelry or stylist experience as a plus.
• Previous stylist experience is welcome, both with apparel and fine jewelry.
• Must have extensive experience in driving business through client outreach to meet and exceed sales goals in a luxury retail environment.
• Proven success through CRM and various clienteling methods and an understanding in managing client profiles; experience in a high-touch environment is a must.
• Understanding of sales metrics and the required action needed to use these tools to drive sales initiatives.
• Must be a team player and hands-on sales leader.
• Integrity, professionalism and the ability to maintain a sophisticated manner reflective of the Sidney Garber brand image.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the drive to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• A demonstrated understanding of personal style; overall high aesthetic sensibility and appreciation.
• Ability to work in a flexible environment and adept at multi-tasking without sacrificing quality.
• Must be comfortable communicating and working with high-profile clientele.
• Constantly striving for excellence with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; checks email frequently and demonstrates timely responsiveness
• Organizational skills necessary to balance multiple responsibilities and commitments of varying priority levels
• Experience with NetSuite, Sales Force or related CRM platform is a plus.
About Sidney Garber:
Sidney Garber, the son of a watch repairman, began what would become his fine jewelry house in Chicago in 1946. As a little girl, Brooke joined her father in the Sidney Garber store, standing behind the counter, watching him work. She traveled with him for years to the ateliers in Paris and Milan, meeting with the most esteemed craftsmen and designers. In 2008, Brooke inherited the business and opened an additional store in New York. As Sidney Garber's owner and creative director, she marries this heritage of quality and excellence with her modern eye, personal style, and sense of ease.
