Position Summary
Within North America, we're constantly evolving local custom build apps and locally engaged cloud solutions whose lifecycle is managed within Nestle IT. Our goal is to improve the end-to-end User experience of FI (Finance) Systems and contribute to improving employee experience. As an Expert Solutions Architect, you will provide technology advise across all Finance & Controlling applications in the scope of North America across different stages of the lifecycle from requirements to retirement. You will be the gatekeeper for all FI technology decisions impacting North America and help revamp the existing FI Systems and Integrations landscape to meet architecture standards defined by Enterprise Architect.
- Support Product (Group) Managers and Product Stream Architects in defining the strategy considering North American context
- Collaborate with IT FI Product (Group) Managers to understand roadmaps and direction of evolution of specific apps and exchange this knowledge to advise Regional Functional Relationship Managers and Business Analysts
- Manage and develop the architecture for a broader scope of products/platforms while working closely with application architects
- Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations
- Lead the implementation and integration of technical architecture across a product group based on enterprise business strategies, business capabilities, and business requirements
- Identify the organizational and financial impact of the solution architecture
- Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring product architecture assurance and compliance
- Support the BSI around existing standards for integration and evolution of the technology stack supporting data flows and applying this knowledge in the context of IT FI application/interface landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, systems analysis, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations
- 3+ years of experience with data integration with financial and non-financial systems (ie: supply chain, marketing, sales, HR, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience with SAP FICO
Other
- 2+ years of finance planning experience is preferred
