Job Description

New York Plastic Surgical Group is seeking a Facilities & Environmental Services Asssociate staff member for our NYC office, to perform general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining buildings, adjacent walks and grounds, and equipment in clean, orderly, and functional condition. Provides support to OR nurses and physicians by maintaining the cleanliness of the operating rooms. *Schedule is Monday-Friday starting at 6:00am* • Experience working within a busy medical practice with multiple office locations preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: • Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, stairways, and windows. • Clean operating room suites and other restricted areas. While performing any cleaning and maintenance responsibilities, the “Cleaning Plan-Operating Suite” policy will be followed. • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of equipment. • Picks up and delivers supplies and materials to rooms. • Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures. • Reports work accomplished orally or on written work order to supervisor. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
