Overview

This internship or co-op at Ansys Government Initiatives provides a complete experience in the world of commercial software development. Interns/co-ops are given responsibilities similar to full-time developers and get to write production quality code. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Opportunity

Software Development: Ansys Government Initiatives development team is responsible for all Digital Mission Engineering products sold by Ansys. Most notably this includes our software products, STK and ODTK, as well as our aerospace software development kit, STK Components.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Work on a large scale code base with millions of lines of C++, .NET, and Java source on Windows & Linux
• Participate in modern software development practices to design, implement, and validate new features
• Solve real-world problems for the defense and aerospace industries

Requirements

All applicants must have the following to be considered:

• Currently enrolled in a four-year, accredited university
• Currently studying: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Committed to work for the duration of the internship (continuous 3 months or longer)
• Previous co-op or internship experience preferred
• Development experience preferred
