Gundersen West Union is searching for a family medicine physician eager to practice in a rural setting while enjoying a balanced lifestyle. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care, including obstetrics, within a community-oriented clinic attached to Palmer Lutheran, a 25-bed critical access hospital. - Flexible schedule, including the option of a four-day work week, allowing you to enjoy both your professional and personal life.Â
- Practice obstetrics while caring for approximately 20 patients per day.Â
- Option to practice in a hybrid model, combining outpatient and inpatient care if desired.
- Ability to perform C-sections; fellowship training preferred.Â
- Onsite imaging (MRI and CT), lab services, rehabilitation (Cardiac, Occupational, etc.), and much more.Â
- You will work alongside a dedicated team focused on preventive care and fostering lasting relationships with patients.Â

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
