Summary
The Bureau's Director's Financial Analyst Program is a two-year rotational analyst program that will give a select number of recent college graduates with undergraduate degrees the unique opportunity to work with senior-level executives on some of the most critical issues facing consumer financial markets in the United States.

Key Requirements:
- Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form i-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
- Report (OGE Form 278e) within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.
Qualifications
Eligible applicants must be either:
- Current undergraduate students who anticipate graduation between December, 2024 and June, 2025; OR
- Individuals who have earned an undergraduate degree on or after April 1, 2022.
AND
2. Candidates must also complete the simulation exercise and be scored by the SMEs at or above the passing grade of 4.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your résumé.
Education
Education Requirements:
To qualify at the CN-30, applicants must have completed a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 (or equivalent); and successful completion of at least 5 courses in any of the following: econometrics, statistics, mathematics, quantitative methods, or finance or similar coursework indicating numeric competency and/or grounded in quantitative analysis. Course work must have prepared the candidate to perform basic statistical techniques such as regression analysis, descriptive statistics, probability distributions, statistical t-tests, confidence intervals, ANOVA, and correlation coefficients.
