The Field Sales Director of Roofing is responsible for supporting daily sales activities in the field and holding team members to a high degree of expectations and sense of urgency. The Field Sales Director will manage day-to-day sales activities, as well as lead a culture that drives a high level of sales performance and expectations. The Field Sales Director of Roofing will train, coach, motivate and lead all team members to meet all revenue and customer service goals. The Field Sales Director is expected to hold all team members accountable daily to ensure sales targets are achieved.

What you’ll do….
Â
- Responsible for working with sales representatives to provide support to close deals successfully
- Responsible for traveling with team members in field weekly
- Collaborate with teams on problem solving, determining strategies and follow-up to close deals in the pipeline to align with desired sales results and goals
- Conduct situational training to include role play with team members to overcome common objections
- Perform daily check-ins with team members to ensure highest level of prospecting productive and performance, and required contact quota with decision makers
- Ensure team members are targeting the right potential opportunities and clients aligned with the roofing service line to include types of buildings, commercial verticals, and roof systems
- Oversee the deployment of Pipedrive and ongoing use by each team member
- Flexible to travel at a high volume and adjustments
- Be the point of contact for all team leads regarding marketing material, special inserts, information, or value proposals useful to the sales representatives
- Schedule and maintain all yearly sales team meetings
- Conduct monthly performance reviews with team members to discuss sales goals, gap analysis reading performance, and create 90-days short term goals to identify and address performance issues
What you’ll need…
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or ten (5) plus years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer skills including internet, e-mail, (MS Outlook) MS Excel, and MS Word
- Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working in commercial roofing experience
- 5+ years in managerial/operations for a roofing contractor
- Must be able to travel 80% of the time
- Extremely knowledgeable in commercial roofing industry
- Self-motivated with a high level of sense of urgency to achieve sales targets
- Understands sales process and closing techniques
- Must be available and reachable on short notice
- Capable of leading sales process as it relates to re-roofing, new roofing (coatings), and service and maintenance
- High level of knowledge regarding roofing safety protocol and requirements
- Maintain a high level of integrity, business ethics, and sound judgment as you perform responsibilities
