Finance Analyst

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Position Overview

This role is part of the Finance Decision Support team in the LAB system (covering London-Amsterdam-Brussels offices). Key areas of expertise of this team: Financial Planning, LAB system and PA performance management, reporting and business support to key decision-making bodies, senior stakeholders (Management Team, Client Team, LAB Finance Executive Director, LAB Commercial Finance Sr Director, LAB Office Leaders, PA Nodes), as well as other BST functions.

What will you do
Analyse the trends of System and Practice KPIs, pro-actively flag deviations, identify cause of variances
Support in preparations of weekly and monthly performance review (System and PA) and translation of outputs into clear insights for leadership

Support in financial planning cycles (E1, E2/PP)
Continously be on the lookout for ways to improve ways of working, deliverables, key processes
Innovation projects to develop new analysis/reporting/dashboards in collaboration with BI&A Hub and/or other systems
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Participation in Strategic (ad-hoc) projects

YOU'RE GOOD AT

2-3 years of experience in FP&A or management reporting role
Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
Strong interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with all levels of staff
Motivation and self-drive - excited by tackling challenges and pro-actively finding new ways to provide value
Flexibility to work in an environment that has short-term shifts in priorities to meet a diverse customer base
Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to set priorities
Critical thinking and problem solving - proven ability to work through complex problems and analyses
Demonstrated experience with business data analysis to draw out impactful conclusions
Strong analytical skills
Experience in Excel, Powerpoint and slidewriting; Alteryx, Tableau, SAP BO knowledge is a plus
Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
