Job Description Summary
1. Analyze external and internal business environment along with current business status to strategically identify critical issues and develop responsive strategies to set the course of action.
2. Develop action plans to strengthen competitiveness based on assessment of internal competencies and processes.
3. Support both Corporate and HR Strategy at Samsung Electronics America by collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying opportunities, and implementing initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and support SEA’s long-term growth strategy
Job Description
1. [Support Corporate Strategy] Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, macroeconomic forecasting, and TAM analysis to inform high-impact decision making and support business objectives
2. [Drive HR Strategy] Collaborate with HR Leaders to design, develop, and implement initiatives that align People Team strategies with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture
3. [Project Management] Contribute to projects of strategic importance. Project can include those involving the use of Samsung staff and/or outside consultants
4. [Identify and Implement Operational Efficiencies] Analyze existing processes / ways of working within People Team to identify inefficiencies and implement streamlined solutions to improve productivity

Required Knowledge / Education / Experience
Required qualifications:
• BA is required for this position with a graduate level degree (i.e., MA, MBA, etc.) preferred
• Strong collaboration and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across all cultures and levels within the business.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is required with an emphasis on quantitative analysis (Excel) and the creation of presentations (PowerPoint)
• 5+ years of work experience
• Authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred qualifications:
• Prior consulting experience (internal or external) a strong plus
• Background in corporate strategy, strategic planning, consulting, and/or business development
• Knowledge of one or more consumer goods industries, preferably in consumer electronics, but not required
Summary:
The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
Job Responsibilities:
� Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
� Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
� Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks.
� Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries.
Skills:
� Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
� Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
� Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
� Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
� Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
� Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
Education/Experience:
� Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
� 5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
