Zions Bancorporation has an opportunity available for a Financial Analyst in Corporate Finance. The position will be a member of the Incentive Compensation Planning Team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of incentive commissions and providing quantitative analysis of Incentive Compensation plans for traditional banking products. This individual will develop and document business requirements and is responsible for enhancing Power BI dashboards and other reporting for a variety of stakeholders. The candidate will use SQL to combine data warehouse-sourced data with the results of various profitability models (funds transfer pricing, expense allocation, capital allocation) in optimized datasets. The analyst will provide direct support to the Affiliate CFOs, Affiliate Relationship Managers, Corporate Incentive Compensation HR department, and Risk Management teams to provide the quantitative analysis for Incentive Compensation Plan Design.
This position offers a flexible 3/2 work schedule (subject to periodic review).

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for documentation, improvement, testing, and validation of Power BI dashboard and Incentive Compensation data tables.
- Responsible for the quantitative analysis and support of Incentive Compensation Planning, including annual and long-term plans.
- Provides support to plan participants for quantitative analysis.
- Works with Affiliate CFOs, Corporate HR, Risk, and other Finance Managers to provide support for Incentive Plan design.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps or other low-code automation tools is a plus
- Experience with incentive compensation planning a plus
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other coding languages
- General knowledge or interest in banking products and financial statements
- Ability to communicate effectively to a large variety of audiences, from finance to data engineers
- Ability to find creative solutions to previously unsolved data and reporting problems
- A desire and an ability to find ways to continually improve processes and drive efficiency
- Ability to contend with competing demands and occasionally changing requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of related work experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science, statistics, math, etc.) or banking discipline (economics, finance, etc.) is required.
