Flexo Press Operator

Job Title:Flexo Press Operator (Corrugated Printer/Slotter) Location:Schertz, TX Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Flexo Press Operator to join our team in Schertz, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of the Flexo Press to ensure high-quality corrugated products are produced efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities: * Set up rails, print sections, and die cut sections on the Flexo Press according to standard setup techniques. * Inspect and maintain dies before and after each run to identify and address any necessary repairs. * Ensure cutting dies are properly secured with all bolts in place. * Monitor box quality throughout production, including checking for issues such as loose liners, warping, size, and print quality. * Regularly inspect anilox rolls for damage and ensure proper functionality. * Operate machinery at optimal capacity and speed to maximize equipment utilization. * Assist in training and supporting First Helpers, Flexo Stackers, and Bundlers with machine-related duties. * Cross-train on other machines to increase versatility within the team. * Accurately complete and submit all required reports, including Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, and Quality Data. * Submit maintenance work orders for necessary repairs and actively participate in proactive equipment upkeep. * Switch duties with the First Helper as needed to ensure smooth workflow. * Ensure compliance with all company policies, including safety standards and maintaining good housekeeping practices. * Follow the production schedule and suggest improvements to meet cost, quality, and service goals. Report any scheduling issues to the Supervisor. * Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: * Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a corrugated Flexo Press. * Ability to pass a background check and drug test. * Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality control and efficiency.
