Foreman Supervisor Licensed Journeyman Plumber - SA

Job Description MJ Mechanical is a leader in the commercial, new construction plumbing business for over 30 years. MJ runs various projects continuously year-round. MJ is currently hiring aTX LICENSED JOURNEYMAN plumber for commercial projects. Wages are competitive and based on years of experience and expertise –between $29-$40/hr, DOE. PRIMARY DUTIES: · Manages and leads assigned apprentices and helpers · Understands how to operate tools safely and adheres to all safety rules and regulations · Reports to the job site as needed including additional overtime hours · Maintains consistent communication with crew, field supervisor, project manager, and office staff · Read plans, knows how to operate construction based iPad apps (PlanGrid, ProjectSight, Procore, etc) and understand TAS/ADA requirements QUALIFICATIONS: · Must have current TX Journeyman/ Master plumbing license · Valid driver’s license · Commercial plumbing experience required · Regularly lift 40 lbs · Smart-phone with data plan · Self-motivated and a good communicator – written and verbal via email, text, phone · Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required -MUSTspeak, read, write in English. · Plumbing tools and your own reliable transportation required(power tools provided) · Willing to pass a background check · Applicants must be a United States citizen, a lawful permanent resident alien or possess a current valid job work visa · Willing to work 40-50 hours per week - overtime on a regular basis · Must have general knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and the desire to advance!
