About this Role:

Experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional, overseeing financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts for the DLS / VRF business. Responsible for preparing forecasts and performing financial modeling to develop and provide reports for functional or operational management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, flash reporting, account reviews, journal entries, income statement and balance sheet analysis such as sales, gross margin, SG&A, operating profit, working capital analysis, etc.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of quarterly forecasts including sales & operating profit roadmaps and off quarter-end risks & opportunities templates.
• Assist with financial reporting using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), SAP and BI tools.
• Forecasting, analysis, and management of cash pertaining to the Carrier Midea North America ("CMNA") joint venture.
• Assist in the preparation of business review presentations.
• Generate various financial analysis reports such as tariff expense, freight analysis, customer rebates, functional costs and E&O analysis to name a few examples.
• Measure sales programs and pricing proposals among key customers, sales channels, brands, and products for management's evaluation.
• Provide comprehensive customer support and regional account management for Midea channel customers.
• Assist in the compilation and analysis of data for monthly journal entries to be entered by the Accounting shared services team for the DLS / VRF business.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree w/ 7+ years' experience
• Master's degree with 5+ years' experience
• 5+ years in accounting or financial analysis role
• 5+ years' experience with monthly reporting metrics, data analysis & data manipulation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work with, consolidate and present large amounts of data and communicate a financial story
• Passion for servicing customers. Ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
• Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Access
• Advanced level skills with SAP and Business Objects. Data Warehouse knowledge preferred.
• Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset.
• Ability to think outside the box, innovate and implement progressive, sustainable solutions.
• Strong ability to work in diverse, cross functional project teams to achieve high levels of performance in a dynamic, changing environment.
• Successful experience with collaborating and working in a matrix environment.
• Proven capability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format
