Front Desk Specialist

Morstan General Agency seeks a Front Desk Specialist for our Horsham, PA. Serve as Front Desk Associate (answering phones and greeting guests), while also providing administrative assistance to teammates and handling other processing tasks within the office as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Answers incoming calls & forwards to appropriate teammate as needed and handles any voice mails left.
• Greets visitors to the office and directs them to the Hull teammate(s) here to see.
• Oversee the Hull incoming fax line/Email folder and forward faxes in a timely manner to appropriate teammate.
• Receive all deliveries to the office (FedEx, UPS, etc) and routes to appropriate teammate.
• Coordinates calendars for Conference Room to avoid any double bookings.
• Assist Accounting with incoming checks and deposits as needed.
• Handles ordering supplies for the office.
• Works with management company for the premises to handle any requests/issues.
• Handles finance agreements for the Profit Center
• Enter/update producers in Producer Maintenance System
• Policy issuance per carrier portals (RSUI and Atlantic Casualty)
• Performs other administrative and processing duties to help others, whenever time allows.
• Greet all clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, determine their needs and direct to the appropriate teammate.
• Operate agency telephone switchboard, route incoming calls to appropriate teammate, and take adequate and legible messages or transfer to the appropriate voice-mail box.
• Provide support as needed to agency departments with overflow
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report
• Minimum acceptable insurance coverages
• Acceptable background check due to handling payments/checks.
