Frontend Developer - Remotely

You will join a highly qualified team of engineers to continue our product's innovation and development, which uses Machine Learning and Big Data technologies to analyze content from several data sources. As a Front-End Developer, you will work on the front-end of the product, which is built using ReactJS. You will be responsible for the whole fronted cycle, so the candidate should be fluent in both graphic design and computer programming. You will work with our UI/UX designer to convert the visual designs into interaction layouts using fronted web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3, then integrate the page with our backend using ReactJS.You will work directly under the CTO in an agile yet demanding environment. We expect you to know several of the technologies mentioned above and are willing to learn fast the ones you haven’t used yet.

Responsibilities

• Convert visual designs into interaction layouts using HTML5, SASS, and MUI
• Integrate webpage to backend using ReactJS
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Apply newest techniques in front-end development and use most updated tools
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications
• Using project management software to track and report on projects
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• DevOps tasks
• Daily progress update
• Contribute to the growth of Lucidya through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts.

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
• 1-3 years of experience in production-grade front-end web development
• Strong knowledge and experience in ReactJS
• Strong knowledge and experience in HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, Material UI
• Strong experience using code repositories like Git
• Knowledge of browser compatibility
• Strong knowledge of current web standards, including approaches to responsive web
• Worked with teams before using an agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban)
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and tight timelines
• Perfect Quality code and front-end integration
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Full stack with a background in Ruby on Rails or Python is a plus
