Within IBM Consulting, Asset Engineering Services is a group who builds software products and repeatable solutions to accompany and support multiple consulting and services engagements across different clients.

IBM Consulting's Asset Engineering Services is looking for a highly skilled full stack developer to join this dynamic, global team to deliver outstanding results for both internal and external clients and IBM Business Partners. In our team, you will be responsible for developing new features across multiple products, translating UI designs into well functioning front end, user facing capabilities as well as interpreting business requirements and developing backend business logic functionality. You will also support our client deliveries and solving client issues and defects that users encounter in our products.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications using ReactJS for the frontend and Python for the backend.
• Create dynamic and responsive user interfaces with VueJS.
• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot existing applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Engage in full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment. Maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Remain updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve skills and knowledge.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Strong experience with ReactJS for frontend development.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Familiarity with VueJS for building user interfaces.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with NodeJS for server-side development.
• Understanding of Large Learning Models (LLM) and their applications.
• Familiarity with SQL databases for data management.
