Salary Range: $94,200 to $125,600 (depends on experience)

Position Summary

The Lightning Insights group is charged with collecting, storing, analyzing and distributing an extensive set of data from our fleet of electric vehicles, as well as developing and maintaining internal and external software solutions. This position is responsible for building a variety of software products to make our data more accessible across the company and to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software, APIs, and web portals based on business needs
• Collaborate with a small team on a variety of projects and products
• Work with internal groups to understand technical problems and build software solutions to solve them

What we require: (education, experience, certifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience in a directly related role
• 2+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying software to cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, MySQL)

What we prefer: (education, experience, certifications)

• Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and other languages
• Knowledge of and experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
