Full-Stack Software Engineer

What you’ll do

We seek naturally curious and enthusiastic learners who can adapt to solve the range of software and business problems that emerging startups typically encounter. As an early employee at an exciting company, you will be expected to think like a strategist and execute like an entrepreneur. 

• Contribute to greenfield development through our modern technology stack that utilizes Java, Typescript, Google Cloud Platform, SQL, Angular, Python, and Postgres among others 
• Create systems that are highly scalable, highly available, and organized for rapid development and easy maintenance
• Make a high-impact within our autonomous environment by building the next generation of intelligence for sales and marketing teams
• Shape the direction of the CloseFactor platform by exploring and developing novel data sources as well as building data pipelines for those data sources

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other software-related fields 
• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Language-agnostic with a preference for experience in Java
• Expertise in web server, web application development
• Experience developing on public clouds such as Google Cloud (GCloud), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure
• Expertise in building scalable and robust backend distributed systems with a strong understanding of backend infrastructure
• Track record of consistently producing high quality software that delights your users
• Experience working with stakeholders to build backends to support consumer-facing products
• Considered an exceptional debugger and code problem solver
• Known for designing systems that are future-proof but not over-engineered
• Driven to solve problems and passionate about building quality technical solutions that will last for years to come
• Experience with crawling, parsing and organizing web content for user consumption
