About the Role:

  • We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer (initial focus on front-end development) with a passion for modern JavaScript web development to help us continue to grow as a leading DTC eCommerce company. You will have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects: those that directly impact our customer experience, including marketing promotions, product launches, and store feature enhancements, and those that focus on improving our daily operations such as marketing analysis, order processing & fulfillment, and CX. As part of a small but agile engineering team, you will enjoy autonomy and ownership in your work, and have a say in making various small and big technical decisions
  • This role will report to the Lead Sr. Software Engineer.
  • This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based in Marina del Rey, CA.
  • The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $95,000 to $115,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop user facing features in our Shopify store (Vue.js + Shopify Theme)
  • Translate UI mockups into functioning web pages and components, working closely with UI/UX designers
  • Build reusable components, in clean and easy to maintain code
  • Implement advanced business logic for product offerings, subscriptions, and order processing, using both native Shopify features and custom solutions
  • Provide technical support for various business needs, such as data tracking, AB testing, and other third party tool integrations
  • Use and maintain our services in AWS

About You:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional full stack development experience, with a focus on front end engineering
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and at least one of front end frameworks; Vue.js strongly preferred
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Have built and deployed web services on AWS or similar
  • Interest or previous experience in eCommerce preferred
  • Shopify experience (theme development, Storefront and Admin API, etc.) is a big plus
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and autonomously
  • Have strong communication skills; able to discuss technical matters with non-technical team members
  • Takes ownership of your work
  • Passionate about writing clean code, follow the best practices
  • Enjoys learning new things
  • Knows to have fun!
