Full time Nurse Practitioner position at Women's Health practice in Orlando, Florida

One of our established, affiliated practices is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner.  This Nurse Practitioner, GYN only opportunity allows you the ability to maintain a perfect work life balance in an exceptional Orlando suburb, Baldwin Park.   

Position Highlights:

• Effectively identifies, evaluate and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care.
• Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with the physician, other providers and practice manager, which allows for consultation, collaboration or referral. Works in a leadership role with the staff.
• Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic and long-term healthcare issues.
• Educated patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues and the use of prescribed medical treatment and/or medication.
• Week Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5pm; Friday 7:45am-1pm
• Call Schedule: No in person call, virtual/phone call only. 1 every 5 weeks. A Medical assistant screens the calls, with provider available if escalated.
• Patient Load: ~16-25 patients per day
• Fully licensed medical team and support staff

Requirements:

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred

This care center is in Baldwin Park, a thriving but quiet residential suburb of Orlando, filled with coffee shoppes and stores which borders a beautiful lake, and is a perfect location for anyone. This prosperous neighborhood is one of the safest and youngest neighborhoods of Orlando. The streets are lined with colonial-styled homes with large, welcoming, front porches.
