Your role in our mission
Weāre recruiting for a Funding Analyst to join our Finance team at Salary Finance, reporting to our Head of Funding, Financial Planning and Analysis.Ā Youāll be responsible for managing our cash which will include; managing our debt facility requirements, monitoring the cash flow needs of the business, developing cash management processes and controls, managing our hedging strategy and generally being passionate about all things cash. This role is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in an exciting FinTech scaleup.
What youāll do
- Management of cash flow forecasting and liquidity requirements to ensure effective monitoring and utilisation of business cash; meeting funding requirements and operational needs.
- Managing draws from all existing and future debt facilities and being the main point of contact for lenders during the drawdown process.
- Ensuring existing facility terms are implemented, including designing and implementing processes to support existing facilities and any variations to existing facilities.
- Monitoring compliance with covenants and triggers across all existing and future debt facilities, including securitisation structures.
- Preparing all servicer reports for lending facilities, and being the main point of contact for lenders for any queries relating to the reports.
- Be proactive in enhancing the existing process and controls; building and maintaining a highly controlled cash management environment.
- Managing hedging strategy and appropriate execution of swaps to meet debt covenants.Ā
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders; both internally and externally.
- Working cross functionally to manage existing product funds flow requirements and to design, optimise and develop new flows as needed.Ā
- Setting up and managing new banking relationships.
About you
- Have a ācan doā attitude and a problem solving mentality - you always look to improve new or existing processes.
- Are a qualified accountant or treasurer and can demonstrate relevant experience of operating and improving cash management processes, specifically within the regulated consumer lending sector.Ā
- Can present complex technical details, concepts and information in an easy
to understand format. - You have demonstrable experience of building high quality cash management processes.
- Have real enthusiasm to work in a fast growth start-up - you will thrive if you are a self-motivated, fast-paced, action oriented, āroll up your sleeves and get-things-doneā sort of person who wants to work in a small team where everyone makes a difference.Ā
- Are passionate about technology and social impact and want to help grow a business that delivers a meaningful difference to society.
- Degree educated, preferably in a mathematical or finance related subject.
Awesome if
- You have previous experience in the FinTech industry and/or a scale up business.
- Experience with securitisation strcutures.Ā
