Job Description
R&D Partners is an award-winning science and tax consultancy that uses AI and advanced proprietary software tools to help companies efficiently receive more government funding, faster for less time and risk. We work closely with venture capitalists, banks, and the tech ecosystem to accelerate the growth of technology firms in Canada. Our team has successfully helped secure over $300M in funding for our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Meet with entrepreneurs to assess government funding eligibility
- Collect financial and tax information required for the government funding
- Prepare the financial and tax documentation to access government funding
- Support our government funding program search engine data team
- Support marketing, sales, tax, and other business activities
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and attributes:
- Interest in taxation. You should have an interest in furthering your knowledge of taxation and funding.
- Organized with an attention to detail. You are organized and able to prioritize tasks while ensuring that important details are always correctly tracked and handled.
- Entrepreneurial mindset. You are a take charge type of person who recognizes that working with a small team means taking on responsibility and being accountable.
- Motivated and resourceful. You have sound judgement, are resourceful and have demonstrated strong adaptability and management skills.
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Taxation/Accounting, Business Administration or related fields
- Excellent communicator – French and English (oral and written)
- Strong knowledge of MS office and preferably knowledge of TaxPrep and other corporate tax software
- Fast learner, attention to detail, tech lover, great sense of humour, and energetic individual
